Focus Groups
Focus Groups allow a means of obtaining opinions related to a specific case or subject matter. It gives the trial team an immediate view of jurors' perceptions. The number of prospective jurors ranges from six to several dozen depending on the nature and size of the case. It is arranged by an experienced jury consultant who knows the venue, moderates the groups, develops research questionnaires and suggests theme development to counsel.
Delving into the issues and further revealing the jurors' perceptions is the beauty of this method. A strategic communication report provides an expert evaluation of the issues. Focus groups make it possible to utilize jury research for a moderate size case to your "bet-the-company" case.

Dr. Cynthia Cohen has been sought after for over twenty years to offer her insight and expertise in the area of Jury Consulting. She speaks at Bar Associations across the country and comments on jury behavior for CNN and other media. Verdict Success specializes in jury research, trial strategies, and settlement decision-making. Dr. Cohen conducts mock trials, case strategy research, focus groups, community attitude surveys, jury selection, trial analysis, shadow juries, juror interviews and mediation analysis. |

The Program...
For a cost effective focus group, we offer a package that includes the use of our focus group facility for the day, recruitment and compensation of 8 jurors, refreshments, snacks and a meal, additional conference rooms for meeting and conferring, and 15 hours of professional services including preparation and analysis, group moderation, theme development and strategy suggestions. The price of this package is $8500.
For a larger focus group we offer a package that includes the use of our focus group facility for the day, a jury research questionnaire, recruitment and compensation of 24 jurors, refreshments, snacks and a meal, additional conference rooms for meeting and conferring, and 30 hours of professional services including preparation and analysis, group moderation, theme development and strategy suggestions. The price of this package is $17,000.
